This exhibit, located in the Austin Room on the 3^rd floor, traces the many transformations of intelligence in Toronto from the early 1900s to the present day through the 2 Intelligence Company. A rich history indeed, punctuated with tales of espionage, tales of bravery, and tales of woe. On exhibit are a collection of uniforms, photographs, tools, and technologies that embody the many transformations in intelligence over the last century.   What began in 1903 with the Corps of Guides, includes the Canadian Cyclist Corps, moves through Camp X and the Special Operations Executive (SOE) in the Second World War, and ultimately spawned today’s 2 Intelligence Company.   Playing a crucial role in the Second World War, members of the Number 2 Military District in Toronto, including members of Canada’s oldest regiment once commanded by Sir Henry Pellatt: Queen’s Own Rifles, were involved in intelligence beyond Toronto. The Toronto district held intelligence training camps in Ontario. On display are the remnants of the secret agent training school, Camp X, from combat knives to spy suitcase radio sets. The camp was formed with the collaboration of many Toronto intelligence personnel. Casa Loma was home to Station M, a secret manufacturing facility that tested and produced gadgets and covert material for the SOE and Camp X during the Second World War.
